Who we are

     Echelon is a Multi-Gaming community established in early 2007 by several friends wanting to not only play video games for fun, but to push ourselves and drive for greater accomplishment.  Several members of our raiding core have been playing since open beta, and are still passionate and devoted to the game all these years later. We are looking for people who share this same drive and passion, and are willing and able to invest the proper time and effort needed to propel us forward to greater competiton with other endgame guilds on our server.  Our leadership core is friendly, focused, and professional; As a guild, and as individuals, we value integrity, honesty, personal excellence, constructive criticism, continual self-improvement, and mutual respect.  We are commited to our raiders, and we expect the same commitment from our raiders to the guild. Raids are led in this frame of mind, we do not scream or yell in Ventrilo and maintain our professional attitude even at the worst of times.  Our mission is to provide a solid, constructive raiding environment, dedicated to providing results and striving for the highest levels of World of Warcraft progression.

     Echelon has game communities in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Heroes of Newerth, Starcraft 2, and Civilization 5.Our WoW Chapter has been running since TBC, Killing Vashj, Kael, and Illidan. WOTLK was also sucessfu, resulting in the demise of Arthas. Cataclysm is going to be a large part of our next year; With guild levelling in place, and many returning members, Cataclysm looks to be an exciting move forward for the Echelon Community.

     Echelon has guild activites running all week, but most raids are held Tuesday-Friday 630-930.  We run raids efficently, and will frequently request players have a basic understanding of a boss before we encounter it the next day.  We use a DKP System awarded on a time spent and bosses downed model. This rewards players that show up and are present for boss downings during farm periods,  and for those long grinding nights on one boss. Item is given to the highest dkp number of the contenders, and then that items value is subtracted from their total. This system allows for a strong, fair loot system free of perceived corruption or random luck.
